Your intense love of flowers shows through again. The sense of touch, fragrance and image of the beauty of these flowers excites the soul within the imagery and the words. Well done.

Comment from Sandra Stoner-Mitchell
It looks a beautiful place, Tom, and I can quite understand how you would find inspiration there. The poem and photo are made for each other, my friend. These would make lovely Christmas/Birthday presents. The photo of the flowers with the poem beneath all in appropriate frames. I think I have told you that before. It is really lovely. xsx sandra

Another nice one. Once again the simple trimeter form seems to ego the beautiful simplicity of the garden. I indulged in my favourite game of hunt the volta and I believe I caught it coming in at line 10 where your final sentence starts as there is a distinct change of direction at that point.

Oooooo, I love that room!
I wanna go there!
Your poem is wonderfully whimsical while following a wild and jaunty journey
Which leaves us jauntily and joyfully jerked about!
Wow!
;)
Loved it

Wow, what a spectacular, indoor, sunken garden! The Sonnetta form you selected is a terrific choice to reinforce the intricate, symmetrical "tableau". Thank you for sharing your rhymes and the "magic". Cheers- Joan

First of all the garden is GORGEOUS! I wanna GOOOOO!!!
Second, although this is not one of my favorites of your poems -- it is still beautiful and creates lovely imagery! Well done!

It is a beautiful place to draw inspiration from. This is a lightly and full of fun poem format. Superb photograph taken once more.

This is a most beautiful writing. And i love it. At least you have found a place where you can meet your muse. Starting with lots of strength and it finishes with a lot of strength..flowing beautifully.
