Excellent. I been married for 9 years, but been together for 11 yrs. Some have wonder why and how. Everything hasn't always been gold. I love that you choose the rose for it represent love.

I so love this little love poem/song written in ABCB rhyme format. For I was continually nearly singing this as a blues song.

Hi Brett. I enjoyed the word play that reminded me of riding a rollercoaster that had short, but exhilerating twists and turns. Your words were refreshing. They smell great and taste like whiskey. This is definitely a song. Cheers.

You are probably right. And this lyric says it in a way that is die-stamped with your hallmark. You make it all sound so simple, but life somehow has a way of complicating everything, or is it us humans that complicate life?
