What an attractive form this is with its doubled rhyme, internal and external. The layout clearly points up the volta that changes the poem from the descriptive to the reflective mode. The final couplet one could almost say was in the peremptory mode, demanding action for a given reason.

I'm so glad you highlighted the rhymes that we of the blind brigade can see (I'm sometimes blind to these) not only did you do this in a very skilful way,, but you also presented what I consider a worthwhile activity, to bond with one's children, so important in a world that's too busy for their kids! Well done, beautiful wording and very clever poetry, in which you revealed a version of poetry I never knew existed, I indeed learnt something today! Well done, blessings, Roy,

I always though poets were great at figuring out puzzles. This poem proves it. To be able to maintain even iambic pentameter, deliver the required rhyme and still make sense is a grand feat, indeed.
