Though I used to be scared of them, I actually love the bees now and welcome them. Didn't have many this year though. Lovely poem filled with imagery.

Thank you Teresa. Yes, the population is on the decline.

A great sonnet about the bumblebee! The only line I stumbled on was at the very last: So, carefully watch these bees, if you please. I hope you can work with the meter, to make it flow a little smoother. Maybe something like: So watch these bumblebees, if you please. (Just a suggestion.) Otherwise, it's very good.

You have done your research on the subject of your poem. I was quite amazed at the rhyme and flow of this type of poem. You did very carrying it through while telling a story about the bumble bee. It was nice to read your summary about the Asian Sonnet as I am unfamiliar with this type of poetry. Great poem, great job.

Thank you very much Annie.

Well written poem depicting the often misunderstood, and disliked, bumblebee. Notes about them interesting as well. Bees do indeed form their own societies around a queen.

Comment from Sandra du Plessis
An interesting sonnet form. The distinctive black and yellow bumble bees are a pleasure to watch while they are busy. They can also be dangerous when they attack and sting, so be careful around them. Thank you for the information on the bumble bees

This is an absolutely delightful lesson on poetry and grand education on many other factors of nature involving Bees. As always, this writer delivers meaningful gifts of wisdom and knowledge to poets over a broad span of intellectual space and genre. Many thanks again for a delightful and buzzing experience!
