A thank-you and a prayer to the Lord for whoever is responsible for preparing our meals. A debt of gratitude is due to the chefs and wait staff of restaurants for their tireless efforts. A gleaming smile is the result of feeling appreciated. I am grateful that you shared this.

What a simple yet profound poem about what can bring about peace which is much needed in this world. I like the alliteration with "grace" and "gift".
Well done.

This very short poem speaks volumes of a gift that was paid for by Jesus on the cross. Thank you for saying it so eloquently. I wish more people could hear this word. I enjoyed reading.

I think grace is one of those qualities we sometimes forget about, and it transcends all boundaries of physical or emotional. My Nan, recent passed at the grand age of 93, was called Grace, and it suited her perfectly. I very much enjoyed your piece.

Very well said in few words. True grace comes from God, and is a precious gift bringing spiritual peace. Man may imitate the act at some level, and that should certainly be our role - to reflect God's grace and offer it to others.

Very nice lanturne poem (12341 Syllable).
While grace can more generally be defined as
"courteous goodwill". (Dictinary.com)
It's clear you were speaking from a spiritual place, and " divine grace" surely brings peace!
We could use a bit more of it these days!

Your lantern poem is beautiful in appearance and content.
Grace is one of the best gifts God bestows on us. It's His love and protection.

Isn't it the most wonderful thing in life that we are not required to EARN God's love--that there's no set of works we must complete to have salvation, grace, and peace? In these few words, you have conveyed a sweet message
