My head is spinning at this time of night, but it looks as though you have creamed it. I've made a note and may have a go at one myself one day when I'm feeling brave. Fusion sonnet or confusion sonnet? I'll soon know! Anyway, yours is a fine example and I might look up this Greek sadist on Google for more examples.

So, you need to revise your primer with sonnet form number 19! Thanks for introducing us to the handsome Cash in both your photograph and word pictures. I enjoyed your rhymes and rhyme scheme, repeats plus the "Sphinx" simile. Smiles- Joan

You have captured the power of this dog as well as his gentleness in both the picture and words. Judging by the size of his head, neck and shoulder, I don't think anyone with sense would dare threaten his owners and family. A great poem, Tom.

Definitely loved the picture and the truth about this type of dog. The idea that he is a family member makes it much better. The form had me reeling a bit but that's not unusual with my personality.

Thank you Artemis, glad you liked it. Yup, crazy rules, but an intriguing outcome.

This is truly a most interesting piece. Had I come across this piece at random and without the benefit of your notes, it would undoubtedly have raised a smile because of its content, but I doubt if I would have identified it as a sonnet.

However when pointed in the right direction by your notes one can see the classic development of the sonnet through to the first of the two voltae (would that be the plural of volta?). When I asked you what in your opinion was the definitive of a sonnet you came bake with an answer that was due to the development. Any other answer would have been given the lie by this!

Thank you Pantygynt. I'll buy voltae. So this form has quite a lot of voltage. I does carry a certain charm. Ill likely do more.

Great sonnet. It's a beautiful dog. Never estimates any dog. Our two dogs are very naughty but on the first sign of danger, they are alert and on their duty

Oh he's BEAUTIFUL! I absolutely love him!
I just want to love on him.
aw...
we have a house full over here.. but none that big
a little four pound yorkie named Sir Clyde
a 10 lb mini Schnauzer, Stormy
a 25 lb Shiba Inu, Pixel, and a 19 lb red Boston Terrier, Nellie
(the last two are my kid's dogs... yet we somehow are financially
responsible) :(
lol
oh... you want a parrot? please?

it's not helping my migraine, in the least.
ok... I'm not my usual reviewing self as my head is about
to implode, but for the most part I saw every word and I adore Cash... on both levels ;)

Have a nice nice, Treischel.

Hey Cat. Thanks so much. I totally understand the financially responsible part. Been there. Done that. Glad you liked it and him.
Take a pill and chill. Lay down, wet cloth over the eyes. Love them animals too!
