To tell you the truth romance poems are not usually a favorite of mine, but yours are always on another level, on a higher plane it seems. They are so authentic and flow with a natural and true feeling. Very lovely.

Beautiful thoughts on love in this inspiring free verse poem. My favorite lines are the last three:
"love is life worshiping in the glory of morning
cart wheeling the gift
love is us"

Awesome ending. Thanks for sharing.

Lena

Love is a very special
word for us all everyday
of our lives.
We remember and keep
memories of loving times
within our lives and hold onto them.

Wow, what beauty that rests in this poem! The alliteration adds to the beauty and flow of your words.

I love your approach to love. We should all adhere.

Sparks must be struck - for a fire to start. . . this is what your poem
reminds me of.

Sparks flung out as carbon strikes flint - kernels of fire waiting to catch.
Each line offered the promise of enlightenment, if encouraged to kindle.

Slowly, but surely, a roaring blaze of love and life will result. :-)

Your poem is excellent. I did find one error. In the second stanza, "tommorows" should have an apostrophe. It is possessive.

Love definitely has its defining under each conception of its potential. Yet the greatest aspect is to care for someone who doesn't even know you: my God's love.

This is absolutely haunting and, as the music builds, so does the poem hitting the crescendo of "love is us". Fellow writer, I think this is my favorite poem so far because of the beautiful metaphors and similes used as well as the way the poem builds and ends. The lack of punctuation allows the reader to absorb it at their own pace. The lack of rhyme here increases the intensity and passion. Bravo!
