I think this is a cute poem and I like the picture although friendships are a sore point with me at the moment due to a so called friend using my name to get a phone and not paying the bill. Thank you for sharing.

-This universal message is a beautifully one to be remembered to time. You actually hit the nail on the head by writing this particular perpetual and universal message.
-Good use of enjambment which is the running on of a thought and concepts in one stanza and line to the next without a syntactical break.

There must be something in the air... I just posted a poem about friendship too. I love your short, but so meaningful poem. It speaks volumes about friendship and what life is all about. Excellent use of language to communicate deep thoughts without rambling. (This is the opposite of rambling!) I loved it. Well done!
