Dear poet, the poem definitely meets the 5-3-5 syllable requirements. I like that it still sounds haiku like with the first two lines set against and interpreted by the third. However, kisses being like nectar is very cliche. I think the poem would be stronger if you came up with an original and interesting interpretation of a kiss. Good luck in the contest.

However, kisses being like nectar is very cliche. I think the poem would be stronger if you came up with an original and interesting interpretation of a kiss. Good luck in the contest.
