This is a fine Mirror Cinquain poem
Syllable are exact in the stated pattern
Rhyme pattern is very interesting and effective
But it's the descriptive images that set it apart
Even without the excellent photograph
You can picture the sunbeam glimmering on the lake
A perfect Father's day morning
Well done

A charming poem. the illustration complements it beautifully. To go fishing at dawn and to watch the sunrise is a very special thing, never lose slght of that beauty.

This is a sweet poem and I hope you had a good day fishing. I find the sport a bit boring, but I think it is a man and son thing. A bond between the generation gap so to speak. Thank you for sharing.

What a gorgeous poem! I have never used this form, but the way you have it flows so beautifully, so naturally - it is easy to 'see' this tranquil scene. The reader is 'drinking in' that lovely sunrise with you! I wish I had a six for this, but these will have to do, I'm afraid - ***********************EXCEPTIONAL******************

How very beautiful. Not only is the picture appropriate but the words have a life of their own. Together they make quite a stunning presentation.

Thank you for a wonderful review.

The cinquain is one of my favorite forms, since it is succinct but gives more space than short Japanese form. I enjoyed your mirrored version and your addition of rhymes that is a extra challenge. Thank you for sharing the spectacular sunrise with us both in your photograph and verse. Your alliteration of "g's" added to the intensity. Cheers- Joan

An interesting form of poetry, like a reflection on water. Beautiful photo as well, inspiration for the poem. My favourite subject is sunrises and sunsets. Thank you for the beautiful words

What a lovely picture of a sunrise, the best time of the day and a most fitting time to go fishing. Nice imagery, well chosen words and good use of rhyming to convey your thoughts. Most enjoyable. Hope you caught some good fish. Faye
