What sweet vows. As you say, they also let you see the groom though your daughter's eyes. She likes the misfit for being just that, a misfit. She will never be bored. You tell the story with such love and pride.

I'm glad the pride came through. It still shocks me that she sees herself as a misfit. He definitely is.

Thanks, Fez. More and more couples are writing their own vows these days, but I bet they lack the humor and honesty of these.

This is such a different wedding and all the Hollywood stuff that creeps in. How interesting that Jeff likes gangster movies and Nicole likes romance. They make an interesting combination.

this is very good, yes she wont be the lil girl you know with friends and a boyfriend, they are her age, she can be more herself with them, cant wait to hear the rest, i loved her writing for the speech.

I find myself a little surprised at Jeff's emotional response and see it as a good sign of something more than the original caricature in my head. However, you have put out many warning signs for the storms your daughter's "love boat" will experience before long. So I'm not optimistic, just intrigued by Jeff's responses at the wedding.
