Hi, Shari.
Nichole's wedding wasn't traditional in the way some are styled but sounded so well suited to two people that thrive in the arts. You shared your daughter's humour so well. It's often the quiet voice when given the chance that can stand out. You described this well in Nichole's vows.
Bye, my friend.
Rosalyne :)

THanks so much for reviewing this. I had a tape of the wedding which helped a lot!

What sweet vows. As you say, they also let you see the groom though your daughter's eyes. She likes the misfit for being just that, a misfit. She will never be bored. You tell the story with such love and pride.

I'm glad the pride came through. It still shocks me that she sees herself as a misfit. He definitely is.

G'day Shari. That sure is a different take on the traditional vows mate. Again this is a very well written chapter that takes me right to the scene. The photo reinforces the chapter very well also. Looking forward to the next one. Bring it on, cheers Fez

Thanks, Fez. More and more couples are writing their own vows these days, but I bet they lack the humor and honesty of these.

This is such a different wedding and all the Hollywood stuff that creeps in. How interesting that Jeff likes gangster movies and Nicole likes romance. They make an interesting combination.

He's even talked her into watching them. She's changing, but then she's been with him now longer than time spent with me.

I was surprised at her gift for writing too. The guests applauded when she finished. Thanks again for the exceptional rating.

Your daughter may not like being the center of attention, but at a wedding, the bride should be...and I hope the groom allows her to shine. You came to realize some important things about her during the ceremony. An interesting and fun chapter, Shari. Should I be scared to read the next one? Lol

Watching the video, it's hard to say, but to my way of thinking he upstaged her. You be the judge when you read the next post, hopefully out tomorrow night.

Do the math. senryu (internet sales).' This was a really good story you have told about your daughter's wedding. I could clearly picture the two of them in front of an equally funny priest. I think those two will make it. It sounds like they know exactly what they're doing. Well done.

Thanks, Chase. They're still together after all these years. Guess he's better than nothing. Thank goodness they live 3000 miles away.

Too far is often not far enough. My Granddad always said; 'a twisted pot will always find a lid.' How are you keeping, Shari?

Nicole's vows were so entertaining. I wonder who she gets her wittiness from??? :-)
I like how you are learning more about your daughter as the wedding unfolds.
Now we get to see what Jeff has to say. 8-)

I won't take all the credit. Hubby is very clever with words.
Hope to get Jeff's Vows out by late Sunday.

Your daughters' wit is hereditary...that much is apparent. Yet her taste in men is all her own, so it seems. I find myself a little surprised at Jeff's emotional response and see it as a good sign of something more than the original caricature in my head. However, you have put out many warning signs for the storms your daughter's "love boat" will experience before long. So I'm not optimistic, just intrigued by Jeff's responses at the wedding.

Me too. He really loses it when he starts talking about his love for his mother! Scary... Always so good to get your input.

Hmm, quite a wedding. I've only been to the more traditional type where you end up nodding off as the minister drones on about what God has blah, blah. Good writing, you really get the sense of being there. But, as you say there are definitely signs of disaster bobbing to the surface. Good chapter there, Spitfire.

Thanks, husky, for tuning in. The traditional type is boring IMO.
    More hurt feelings next. :-)
