You are indeed a very talented poet. This is yet another beautifully penned poem, I really enjoy reading the counting poems. Its amazing how you come up with the different subjects and how well they rhyme with excellent rhythm as well. Thanks for sharing. lol Portia

Excellent

My neighbor still used a crank phone when I was a kid. You could direct dial though, by cranking each of the five numbers out separately. There were still party lines so any a dozen people may have been listening.

Nice poem! I like the count down poems, I see them a lot. Are they Brooke's favorites?

The poem rhymed well. The lines flowed nicely. I like the format and the picture that complements the story.

I've seen them movies. Remember calling the operator and getting a live person to talk to, who actually knew things and would answer questions? Wouldn't it be great if we could call our loved ones in heaven? I would love to talk to my grandmothers again. Just a thought.

This is a quite imaginative poem using the number theme to countdown. I do remember the telephone switch board as a child that is what I wanted to do
