I hadn't read the one she wrote about spinning sunshine into shawls for the trees. This sounds like her king of whimsy and fanciful thinking. This is a very nice tribute to this lovely lady.

This is an excellent poem and tribute to Brooke. I like how you used images from her poems. This lends your poem relevance and resonance. Your rhymes are simple and your lines smooth. Your love and appreciation shows through. I hope Brooke reads this and recovers soon. I am still stunned by absence of a woman who shared so many "mysteries of this universe."

Well, Sanku, I for one, felt you did a wonderful job expressing your feelings in this poetic tribute to Brooke. I have no doubt that many more here will agree with that assessment.

Your rhyming was good, and your flow and rhythm were fairly smooth. I didn't detect any major hiccups as I read it. The primary thing is the message of admiration and respect you convey in the piece. The love you have for Brooke shines through in this. And justifiably so.

Great work, Brooke will adore this. ~Dean

Thank you very much. Rhyming and even lines do not come easily to me.( and it takes a long time) Actually I wrote a free verse first ,then I thought since it is for someone who is an expert in rhymes rhythm it better try hard .usually my rhyming efforts are clumsy .This time they seem ok.
Brooke's poems ae always positive and they have helped when i was feeling down and overwhelmed by all the expectations of others around me.Do you know how she is now? is she able to read all those poems written in her honour.

I wish I knew how she's doing, Sanku. But. like you, I have to rely solely on the information I pick up here. You might try reading the FanStory forums. Sometimes there are things posted about Brooke's progress in there.

Awesome poem! This was a beautiful piece that shared sincere feelings and a subtle sense of anguish for the one fallen ill. I enjoyed the heavenly wisdom it seems to impart and share with the subject and the audience alike. Thank you for sharing.

This is a great presentation--the artwork is super, the color scheme is perfect, your words are heart felt, and in a few words this is beautiful. I enjoyed it very much. It is great that everything you wrote reflects back to Brooke.

Thanks for sharing a wonderful poem.

What a beautiful tribute you've written to Brooke. You've captured the essence of her poetry in all your lines of this magnificent poem, and what a clever title you've chosen too! I'm sure Brooke will be touched by what you've written.

A steady rhythm and alternate rhyme make a very pretty poem. The feminine endings in the last stanze serve to bind up the poem in its presentation pack. The first and third lines in the first stanza cry out for a feminine ending. It would be really great if you could find one.

Another superb tribute to a fine, fine poet and human being. I know this is the kind of poem she'd like. Writing of the dew and how it stretches round the world might have been something she would have wrote. Superb! Les

What a lovely poem for Brooke, and done in her own style, no less. "Puddles just right for paper boats" is my favorite line, but many others have great impact as well. Nicely done. :)
