You must be a free spirit. It would be so nice to fly above the clouds and be able be feel close to God to and walked where He walked. Beautiful! The picture used mirrors your poem. Good rhyme and flow. Good luck in the contest.

-This is a wonderful poem about my favorite bird not in the songbird category.
-Wonderful photo and presentation. Everything together shows the majesty of the eagle, in picture and in words.
-The rhyme and meter is excellent as well as many thoughts and images.
-I like the second stanza very much, as it brings in the majesty of the eagle.

A truly majestic and beautiful creature. Wise and powerful....free. Prey to none. I think the wish to fly has been at one time or another a wish everyone can relate to. Well, Mystery Poet, there aren't many more noble creatures a human being could wish to become than the majestic bald eagle. Not only are they the National Symbol for freedom and our nation here in the US, but to see one up close and personal is awe inspiring.
