A beautiful field of dandelions to accompany your poetic tribute to Brooke. May she soon be well and picking dandelions again.

Very Nice Dan
Just check out these two lines--

The poet lies now in the ((her)) bed

While the yellow flowers are in bud (bloom)--

question what kind of pie in the window?

Whatever is your favorite. Open for your personal desire what pie you would smell in the window

Terrific poem to Brooke, dan. And the photograph makes me feel like running through a field of dandelions.

You've got great meter, sound imagery and you have successfully ushered in two distinct smells, the barn and the new pie. I think I'll go with the pie if you don't mind.

Very nicely written, my friend.

This is an excellent presentation. I love the picture and your words are perfect. I love the last 2 lines the best

With the fairies in the fields
dancing among the daffodils

dancing with daffodils is great.

Good job and thanks for sharing.

Awww, this is a sweet poem to Brooke and her beloved dandelions.
I think your poem got mis-numbered, and should be poem # 32.
Only you can edit that.
Rose.

Thanks for the comments. I do not understand about the numbering, this is the first time I added to a book in process.

This is lovely and I know Brooke would enjoy it too. She is the only person that loved dandelions as much as I do. I miss her and pray she returns to us soon.

You made me hungry for pie LOL!!! I remember the days when pies would cool on the windowsill. I loved running free through the fields. Oh to be young again. Kids don't do that these days. Too many kooks out there. Ah the good old days and I think I turned out kind of okay :)

I am loving this tribute to Brooke. Each writer bringing their unique style with one common goal, to wish this special woman well. I love your style. You have written broke instead of brooke twice, cheers judester
