Excellent, This is so rhythmic and smooth. You have used the given words wisely and well. I love the descriptive phrases that you use and the lilac artwork is perfect!Great job!

Thank you RHME4U for your lovely words and I hoped the words would portray the picture I wanted the reader to see. An interesting challenge and it made me think, and I too like the graphic. ( thanks to the great FanStory site selection. Cheers Christine😀

The words have taken you to a very nice place.
Despite the "roaring wind", it seems to me a gentle poem
Good exact and near (bend/wind) rhyme
The poem has a nice flow
You might want a question mark after line two. It is a question.
The word "right" doesn't seem quite right in line six. Maybe "soft"
The last line to me is a little awkward, Perhaps, "that nature does to me present"
Just suggestions. Poetry is all personal choice. It is very good as it is.
Well done

Thank your rspoet for your comments and suggestions, I do appreciate the time you took to read and review this and will make corrections. The words I was to use in the brief were interesting, but I tried to do them justice so thanks for you help Cheers Christine😊

This is a beautiful poem of nature and fragrance. It is beautifully expressed and I like it as the wind carries the fragrance up to your door.oh for the lilac.great

Thank you Benny, I had fun doing the challenge of the brief for this poem and hope I could come up with something for the reader to enjoy. I am enjoying this site so much I have little time to do much else. I really appreciate your time and comments Cheers Christine😀 P's I really love the smell of lilacs too, reminds me of my childhood days when I lived on my farm and we had a beautiful lilac bush

Beautiful descriptive writing! I really like the photo! It gives peaceful aesthetics to the mood! The end line rhymes are great, "and wafts" such good choices of poetic expression. Also, "dipper low" is another creative use of the word dip.

In the fourth line, wouldn't the usage be more correct if you said, "lilacs grow" or "lilac grows"??

The poem is lovely and fragrant! Good luck!

Thank you Ginnygray for your lovely review and comments. I was unsure if I could use the pleural lilacs as the word to use was lilac so I thought it best to try and stick to the words I had to work with. The words in the contest that had to be used were. Flexible, present, air, dipper, lilac, fir, door, & spacious. So after some thought I came up with my poem. So thank you for reading it and giving me advice Cheers Christine😊
