I must confess when I saw the term 'fairy dust' I wondered if it was the latest drug out on the street. Apologies for that. Love the refrain, 'Deep magic dwells in fairy dust.' Your poem flows delightfully. Well written.

Talk of fairy dust was written into the fairy tales. Fairy dust was only used sparingly.it was never used for eviek in the fairy works, it was used to protect the little people.

This is a lovely kyrielle and conjures up the magic of "fairy dust" for those who love the tales of fantasy. At least, your imagination was sparked by the "golden tales" in books. Now the imagination is taken from us because the videos show some artists' rendering of those fairies and dragons like in my grandchildren's dragon games.

thank you for your insightful comments. I like video games, but have to agree that they do limit imagination. When it comes to movies, I prefer to read the book first so that my mind is not limited to the images I see on the screen. Seldom are the movies visuals as good as what I imagined myself.
I believe in books and their fairy dust.

I live on it, (fairy dust) and it is rear to find... I like Angel Heart as well ... I don't usually use pictures though , I like people painting their own pictures ... I really love Van Gogh ,some Picasso , some Salvador Dali .... but for an artist that's alive that I kind of met , here on fanstory.... hands down: Bertodi.... your welcome I'll be looking out for more of your fairy tales ...am
