This gives an overview of his life. I have never heard of him. But then I don't read a lot of Australian poetry. What does O.B.E. mean.

Good luck

"Waltzing Matilda," and "The Man From Snowy River," to name a couple of his more famous poems. Yes, he was indeed a very well known Poet and am quiet sure he would appreciate your little tribute to him. Well done.

I am not familiar with your poet. However, your words describe him well. They make the reader want to learn more about this talented person.

Suggestion: Make the first letter of each line bold (or bigger or a different color) to make the name stand out.

Good job. No changes. Good luck in the contest.

This is a tough contest. But I think your poet would be impressed. It naturally leaves much information out about him. Perhaps you could expand on this further. But a very creative and well written poem.

Very very cleverly done. And a real tribute to Bangor Paterson.

I have not read his work ...but I am assuming he is real. The fact that that I am not sure validates the need for this poem

Thank you petalangela for your great review and support. Yes Banjo Paterson is real and very famous in Australia his real name was Andrew Barton 1864 - 1946 and most of us grew up on his poems. My Dad was especially fond of his work also (my Dad also wrote the most beautiful poems, so does my sister, so perhaps it is genetic) Cheers Christine
