G'day Brett. This is another fine piece mate. I can hear the musician in you as I read it out loud and it certainly sings like a song. The flow and rhythm are very strong as well. Good work again, cheers Fez

Romance hits the poem with love disappear. Though it is a tragic note of separation, the poet feels to openly accept her at any moment. Love reminds to be lively though in divided zone. Lingering and awaiting for the love. Read by teenagers and recommended for lovers.

If you love them, let them go. That is what they say, and I tend to agree with them. This poem was full of emotional essence. There was pain and sorrow as well as sadness. Thank you for sharing.

Love learns to forgive
Love learns to forget
Love lings for a chance
Love seeks the romance

How the time does move
When love is hard to find
Searching for a dream
That is in others arms

you are so right.
very nicely done.
talking of a love that will be there even after the partner is gone and realizes the mistake.
takes a strong person to stay, stronger to go back, stronger still to forgive

A poem of love lost but never gave up on
It tells of a hope for things that never re materialise
But a hope driven by true love
True love can never die

What is the saying, 'doing the same thing over and over again, with nothing changing is insanity' Something like that. We have to let go of those things that will never be. Patricia

You know, the country rock band -- the great .38 Special -- once wrote a song that rocketed to the #27 of the billboard charts in 1981. It's also most notable for being the 13th video aired on MTV in that same year, a time when MTV actually played music rather than all of the reality TV crap they do now.
I thought of that song as I read this well written, well composed set of lyrics. We can tend to suffocate a relationship by clinging too tightly sometimes. And, like that aforementioned band wrote in their song, "Hold On Loosely";

"Just hold on loosely,
but don't let go.
If you cling too tightly,
you're gonna lose control"

Well done, Brett. Another fantastic write, my friend. ~Dean

Your poem has good rhyme although it left sad feelings. There could be temporary separation but if both are interested to patch up and continue, it is fine. One cannot wait indefinitely for the reunion. In this fast world, all people do not consider love to be permanent.
