glad my words could be of use... it's why I write these types of poems every now and again... I would never pen words like these that I hadn't first used personly or believed in... so thank you so much for the reinforcement... "What we resist persists". Indeed, our mind "saves" what we feed it with, like a "computer" and can truly become a prison, full of poisonous content, Not easy to "delete" what fed with during a large part of our life, but so worthwhile to get rid of all that enslaves more than serves us. Spring-cleaning creates space for silence and inner-Peace. Poem expresses so WELL in so FEW words what we must learn and really dedicate ourselves to. Wish you good luck in letting go and in competition. Pic super to complement poem !

This is an beautiful poem that the author has created with this piece of writing. This is so very true from the author in this post. The only thing that holds us back is ourselves. We need to believe that we can achieve before we have a chance of doing so.

A splendid tanka with which to start Sunday. "The silence of inner peace" is a beautiful line with a strong Japanese flavour to it that is most authentic. The thought that it might come unconditionally is most encouraging.

Hi Dawn,
finally! Yeah, I've been on a go slow sorta week... no, not intentionally... had treatments and recovery time... still waiting for the recovery part... and you know what? This poem in some way was conceived in meditation... maybe not all the words, but the intent definitely... you know I'm that 'try before you buy' sorta guy... so I definitely must believe in its authenticity before I put my name to it... this is one particular issue I work hard to achieve, and besides, resistance is futile... well at least in this instance... and to your question... 96% of everyone... I'm just leaving the 4% open to debate... you know yogi's, sages and such... hey, and not let us forget the deranged, that don't even knowledge resistance...oh wow, that could cover way too many options... maybe I should drop that percentage down even further? Yeah, I'm playin' with you, wouldn't have a clue, but what's new? Smile)))))))))))))))))))))).
So anyway, sorry for the late response to such a lovely review... my very talented friend... you know you are always truly appreciated... stars, no stars, doesn't matter... it's the lovely sentiment that counts.

truly sorry for the delayed response to this wonderful review... the past couple of weeks haven't been my friend... pain wise, and well, I had to travel for some treatment early this week, and to tell you the truth, haven't really recovered all that well... but still hoping.
