Could have been more developed by delving into what those evil forces are. Otherwise poem was well written. Action flows well. Story line easy to follow. Write on.

War is always hard to understand
For evil forces are its hands
That is true in all wars that history shows
Yet are they to be ignored?
Who can answer the question here
Are some to be fought because it is here?
When some are martyred for no reason
Can the world turn the eye from seeing?
Time does show some wars are real
Because evil forces did appear
Other times the war is made
Only because some think they are games
How does one know which is true?
The soldier goes because he or she is called
They fight for Country and for the freedom
Family knows that is the reason
So yes some die and we wonder why
Lost the fathers, mothers, sons and daughters
Still with knowledge that they did die
For a reason that is proud to hold at all times
