I am not really familiar with this genre of poetry, which perhaps explains why I found it somewhat hard to follow. It did not flow as well as I would like, and I missed the central message. I preferred the song to the poem.

The photo of the sledgehammer complements your poem perfectly. I did not know the song. But your poem is a beautiful free verse, of which I enjoyed the first stanza best.

I do believe in God...always did...they have no power to take that from me. what they do have is acceptance as you've stated....-headtilt-...why...? are you so sure that "us true believers" are to be His miracle workers...or not...?

because I believe that is what He wants...and you believed it once...that we worked for Him...I believe Michael that if we really believe in Him...truly show Him we love Him...anything is possible...I keep trying to show you that...I stay positive...and just wait...and most of the time it works...I do for Him...He does for me...you'll see...love
