Michael: moody today . . . I love the feel that this poem flowed over me. Like chocolate, perhaps, or maybe a waterfall shower. It is brilliant, as per usual gushing from your mind, on the inside of you. Thank you. Soft Thunder

Dear Michael - this one has me reading it over and over. Plus "Watermark" I've been listening to just as much. Something here, about the quality of space in that "home alone" waiting - The single spinning of a dance in those moments of awe, the last goodbye, or the last breath, or perhaps the shift in perception of what life and death is:) Wonderful thought provoking piece to read this morning.
Thanks for sharing,
Mo

Good morning Michael,

Dallas is crisp and cool. As always I am up very early sitting on the porch atop a hill watching the Dallas skyline become more pronounced against the sunrise.

Your poem, is simply, elegantly and eloquently stated. Exquisite in presentation and introspective in heart and soul.

The question seems to spill from the deepest chambers of the narrator's heart.

It's speaks of something gone but not forgotten and a wishful hope that what or who is gone is truly not in mind or spirit.

Truly, love never dies. That is an intense love could never dissipate no matter how intense or damaging or destructive the breakup.

One might want the memories to go away for the pain is too great but they will be the albatross one takes to his or her grave.

I am sure the narrator's subject feels just as intensely as the narrator.

The question to the subject.. do you worship our time suspended is quite a telling and remarkable line.

A chance percentage against all odds speaks of the difficult obstacles which separate the two and coming back together could be chance if not bleak.

The narrator knows that this love cannot pretend it hates or doesn't feel. Every breath speaks otherwise.

Such an exceptional 4 dimensional work of art. Appealing to all senses of the reader from the spiritual to the emotional. Highly charged and emotive.

A new Poem of the Month.

I am trying to have a good time. Enjoying family but there is one man that I can't get out of my thoughts. I just wanted him here with me, beside me always. That is family. Ahh but it's not meant to be and I can't help but feel a huge part of me is missing.

The poet remembers a solitude pain that he underwent, and thus recollects the mood that contributed. But now only her name stands and thus the poet seeks relief.
Lingering poem with stylish explanation and rhythm, recommended for the lonely in heart to see solace within the poem. Though captured with the feelings that the poet realizes, nobody can reach her, but I meditate on you and remember the memories that are in shades.

The time we get to spend with people are so precious, but we don't always realize that until they are gone. This very well written.
Take care.

You always adorn your words with remarkable pictures. I found the "will you ever say goodbye" very poignant, and I liked the circularity in this poem as well. Cheers- Joan

I try not to miss your work, even when traveling. We are having a mini-vacation about 10 miles from Los Angeles. We bought art on our last cruise, and the auction house is putting us up at a hotel in Marina del Rey for an event with three artists and lots of artworks. Hopefully, we'll resist temptation and just enjoy the art, views and good food! Happy weekend to you when it arrives- Joan

If you were closer, I'd come to your gallery in a heartbeat! If wish they had only egg salad--I'm going to gain three pounds!! But the art is terrific--with watched Alfred Gockel paint on canvas from scratch and today Peter Max arrives. I'll keep you posted if anything stupendous happens. Hugs and happy weekend- Joan
