Ha! Very clever. Is that a Honda Civic on the right? Best car money can buy...Great angle for your photo, BTW. I don't think I've thought of a palindrome in a very long time, so thanks for reminding me of them!

I knew about "madam" but I hadn't thought about "civic" and "tenet" being palindromes. Thanks for sharing your fun and the apartment house photo. More smiles- Joan

Clever this. You will no doubt be familiar with Napoleon's "Able was I ere I saw Elba". Actuall you have a floater or pivot in both your lines. The central A in line one and the second l of dwell in line two. These two only appear in one direction don't they?

Now where do you come with these odd but very crafty written prose. This is an art form all by itself. How much time did it take to write this.. Maybe you were a type setter in your prior life They learn to set type upside down and backwards Kinda like my life I do believe lol

This is a new structure to me. I'm not keen on it--seems too tricky. But you did a great job. What is the "CIVIC TENET" and its significance? You lost me on that one.
Well done, Tom.

Civic for City living. Tenet just means principle or doctrine. So i mean it as "fact of living in cramped city".

Palindromes can be fun said Hannah and Bob. You did this nicely and it took me a bit to get the full understanding, then the notes helped me. Blessings for a good week ahead. Patricia

It's good, and I am impressed by anyone who can think through palindromes (I can't), however your final line should be:
"Evil did I dwell, lewd I did live" instead of "lewd did I live" :-)

Dear Tom, solid form for this work, not one I've tried myself but you make it look easier with your word choices and the impact they give the thought itself.
Nice work.
Thanks for sharing, Happy Easter
Maureen
