This poem is very beautiful for many reasons. When you call Mary, "the chosen one," for a moment you equate her with Jesus, because He is often referred to as the "Chosen One." Very good acrostic poem. Good luck in the contest and have a Happy Easter.

Your concise acrostic poem is moving and deeply spiritual. I like the arrangement of the points; theyconvey a powerful message about Mary, who was choren by God to bear the Savior; and about her Son, who
promised eternal life to all who believe.

And still a winner year after year, I see. Stellar entry and so spiritually moving. I'm in this attitude today as I compose my own Easter poem. The sacrifice Jesus paid was felt deeply by His mother who ultimately became a disciple and follower as well as his brother, James. Simply beautiful, dear Bill. Have a wonderful and worshipful Easter!

What a terrific Easter celebration tribute.
The thoughts of your poem were expressed well.
I am sure that your inspiration that Mary wept was a factual event that we have overlooked continuously.
Thanks for sharing.

Congratulations on the Easter Theme Acrostic! It offers deep emotion and a rhyme telling of the Easter story. It is so sad that we cannot gather together to attend church this Sunday, but the message is still going out and can have a great impact on a lot people during this troubling time.

Thank you my friend for your excellent review.
Yes, I agree, it is a shame about this Sunday. However, there are a few Pastors in my area that are keeping their church doors open for anyone that wants to attend service even though our Governor and state officials has warned them not to.
The Pastors say that it is their constitutional right...

A very well-written acrostic poem for Easter and the emotion of weeping Jesus expressed when He saw His mother Mary's worries about Us coming death that was planned from the beginning, without His death there will not be a resurrection.

What an interesting concept in writing his words to his mother. Very soothing and comforting, in an acrostic style giving extra merrits for the mother's feelings. well done
