I cannot imagine being a mother and watching my son have long nails driven through His hands and feet. And, then standing there and watching Him die a slow brutal death hanging on a cross. What a horrible experience that must have been for her.

I cant imagine how Mary was feeling, probably a mix of a lot of feelings. It was gods plan but I cant imagine how she coped, she probably prayed her heart out to god to help her. Mary is a very strong women.

What an appropriate poem for the day prior to Good Friday. I can see why it won the contest. I also loved your comments about Mary. I think sometimes people tend to forget her role in his death. She stood as our witness. Sorry, this deserved a six, I'm out of them
