Funny. Perfect picture. Your syllable count is correct to a point. Yes, there are 7 symbols although not all are syllables. Anyway you made your point well. The title is perfect. Mind you I am not criticizing your syllables. To each their own. It is funny though. It makes the reader thin and that is a good thing. Good luck.

I am in awe of wonderful writers who write this form of poetry. I am way too wordy. These days every one seems to have their hand out taking my money. That's why I love the last Line. In others words, "BITE ME." Have a great day and God bless, mike.

Very clever. Certainly a fun piece that one can laugh at as well as say, "Uh huh, I see what you're saying and agree-rules, rules, and more rules. Ugh!" So, did you win and 5-7-5 contests with this. :) Specific types of poetry certainly hold their place in history, but sometimes it's easier to express and connect without all the requirements. I kinda prefer the latter. Nice write. Enjoyable and good for a giggle.

Hahahaha - um, could this, perchance, be a disgruntled, previously disqualified contestant, by any chance? Clever, even witty, but unlikely to be terribly popular with those who do the disqualifying! (HAHAHAHAHA)

Too funny. How irreverent of you, poet!!! This made me laugh out loud and anybody who does that deserves a review. And now I will fulfill my letter count requirement in this review box by typing this.

Well done!

Cleverly written ha? It's fun to join challenging and short contest prompt. It hits hard when you got disqualified because of exceeding word counts.

I like the originality and the seven syllables are therein that second line . I think this is very clever and wish you look Mr. Satirical. Love the art

The picture in this raving entry has a nice feel of winning in its depiction of some actor winning Bongo bucks. Wish it were me.

Ya' know, I have a sneaking suspicion who wrote this, and he's male, his name begins with an "M" and ends with an "L" (or a "Y") depending upon how you choose to address him. It has your trademark satirical stamp all over it, LOL.

Anywho, there's no denying you've got the appropriate syllable count, as per defined in the writing requirements of 5-7-5 poetry (hence the name, 5-7-5 poetry...ahem).

Now, if the (cue drum roll, please, sound man...) Contest Competition Committee, in their infinite wisdom, choose to disqualify this entry, I'd wager that it would spark a revolt of galactic proportions. Heh-heh...

Good work, "Anonymous", and good luck. ~Dean ;}

LOL. You've definitely met the rules. Great picture to match. Unfortunately there's no big money involved if you win. Poking fun at something is usually delightful, unless it was meant to hurt, and this just made me laugh. Great job! Les
