Ronni,
What amazing entry lines you have here in your introspective
admonition to us. So true too. I love the idea that you plant
of our self worth. Your ending is the icing on the cake for those
thoughts.
I can only offer you a review for a ribbon here...So embarrassing
that on a Tuesday night I have no sixes left. I've been reviewing
until I'm almost blind >why? I need to take a break...BUT, I'm so
happy to have stopped by to read and receive your wise, spiritual
and uplifting thoughts in this refreshing free verse.

Hi Linda,
Happy you enjoyed this one a ways back,. So many people seem to dread
Birthdays, and that always seemed so sad to me. I'm not wild abut mine
but I am happy just to still be around, and had the blessings and fortunes
I have had up until each one. So I try to keep the positive aspect of
Birthdays ...and getting older in general....and share it, as in this posting.
Thanks again for looking in dear....Love always, Ronni

Thank you for your uplifting thoughts and comments, and appreciations of this presentation.
Too many of us are too serious about age and so many hang ups about it. Attitude...and
a great sense of humor are key to aging gracefully and happily. Pleasure to have your
visit and sharing. Best wishes always...Ronni

Dearest Ronnie,
What an inspiration to the human experience. I do believe age is just a number. Of course with my birthday being yesterday it does seem more profound as those numbers get higher. But I do not feel my chronical age so I guess that's a good thing. Loved the presentation. Great job my friend. Good bless

Hi August,
You are so right about age being just a number. Attitude and good sense of humor sure beats the aging blues.
AND MAY I WISH YOU A BELATED HAPPPY BIRTHDAY...WISH I KNEW IT SOONER...BUT ANYWAY HOPE
YOU HAD A GRAND DAY! So pleased you shared your kind comments and compliments on this one.
and truly appreciated it. Take care, best wishes always....Ronni

Dearest Ronni - Loved the wisdom in this one. I never worry about age, and usually get told I am much younger than I am - laughing and living the moment, letting go of the "storms" in life - this I think helps keep life "young" - wonderful poem so beautifully penned my friend.
Thanks for sharing,
Love

How profound this writing really is, Ronni. Hi, my friend. So glad to see you post again. You are definitely in tune with the human experience in every way:
"I know your love was ever true
And even though you had to leave
My love will ever go with you
I hope that's something you believe." (Sound advice for all)
Bravo! X Bob

Hi Bob,
This is a fantastic review my dear friend; but I hope you don't mind me pointing out that
the 'quoted excerpt of the poem' you noted, was not mine, perhaps mixed up with
someone else's. That particular verse cited and especially referenced to' does
not appear anywhere in my poem, "Oldest and Youngest"...No fret dear friend,
and no offense, I've done that myself time or two, so I fully understand how it can happen.
Thanks for the kind words. Take care, best wishes always, Ronni

Ouch! Hate that . I am so very sorry, Ronni. Here are thre lines I meant to quote:
"they don't mind
allowing others
and the world to
see, feel, love
and just as
elatedly
enjoy You!
Thank you for being so understanding. this is typical you. sigh....X Bob

It's quite allright Bob, no fret, no
apologies needed, 'to err is human'
so true it is. Have goofed myself
so I fully understand. Thanks again
for your kind support and appreciation.
Love, Ronni

This is so true for so many. Age is just a number. Your poem flows well. I like the short lines which helps that flow. I see nothing to change. This reminds me of the saying:
yesterday is history, tomorrow is the future, and today is the present (so live for today--don't quote me on the saying, but it goes something like I wrote.) Good job and thanks for sharing.

Thank you again for sharing your positive philosophy and wisdom. I admired your minimalist, free verse and your saying it all in "your age is only/a passage of time". Here's to TODAY! Many hugs- Joan

Thank you for your uplifting thoughts and comments, and appreciation of this presentation.
I agree with you...age is merely a number, it's the attitude about it that makes all the difference!
Me too...quite at ease with my age too...and so neat that you are too! Your visit a pleasure
indeed, do have a gorgeous day! Blessings, best wishes, Ronni

I love the upbeat and positive tone inside this free verse. I appreciate that we need to live today. You opening stanza is perfect. It gives this message and the last stanza reinforces it stongly.
Excellent.

Love your attitude and appreciation of the upbeat message of this presentation! Sincerely appreciate it.
We get so bogged down with past and worry about future, we use up so much of 'today' without realizing it.
Thanks for sharing your positive thoughts. Have a marvelous day! Best wishes always, Ronni
