Hi, His Grayness. I found this interesting. I have a book of saints' lives which speaks about James. I have a question in this piece, though. Toward the end you identify Joseph as the speaker. Is this a typo--meant to be James? Same for the author's note. Christians are surely in danger now in the world. Best, Marilyn/BeasPeas

Hey My Fellow Labor in the work of our Lord,
This is a very ingesting piece of literature. I have not hear of it before now. Did you get it from historian Josephus?
Oops being called by Sunshine to go shopping.

Hi Jerry...dear friend and please accept my apology for such a delay in responding to your kind review! I wish I'd been out shopping with "Sunshine" but frustratingly "moving house" etc. so offline for a longtime. I really appreciate your kind thoughts and to be honest....I was actually thinking about this subject one night, fell in bed exhausted, and then woke up the next day and found it on my laptop without the slightest recollection of ever writing it ...so as they say......go figure??/ I'm still trying to solve that one????. Blessings my friend! Vance

Hi, Vance,
"Jesubrother) is the little told story of a facet of Jesus' life. It seems that it is not in the main stream of Christian gospels and has been mostly forgotten. James has not received the honor due him as as one who supported Christ's mission to bring love to the world. Thank you for resurrecting this story.

beyond excellent obscure Christian His Story lesson. Great choice to present it in first person to make it double the impact. Was I actually correct in my past reviews when I called you a preacher? are you familiar with a newly discovered "book" (I think it's by a St. Thomas) that was left out of the Bible and concentrated on the metaphysics of Jesus?

Hi Val: thanks so much for your kind review and yes, it's true that I'm somewhat of a "spiritualist and not qualified to be a preacher but one day when we meet I shall share a secret about this particular posting (which I don't want to make public on the internet). I hope all is well with you and look forward to meeting in person one day soon! Vance

Hi there,
An interesting topic discussed in this piece, although it is presented more like poetry than prose. There are a couple of issues with speech tags being missing as well.

Thanks giraffmang: you are indeed correct that my writing was a bit sloppy and of course, he did not die in a tiny box, but his bones were only buried in such. Thanks for the feedback as much appreciated! His Grayness.............Vance

This is a fascinating read. And like the often spoken theory that Jesus and Mary Magdalene were indeed married, it will provide countless arguments.
Your story is well presented with detail that will never convince those with the opposing view.
Your argument may well have been enhanced had you quoted sources. Nonetheless it is a most enlightening post

Thank you Bob: I'm a bit sad in retrospect, that I left so many errors in this work (done in the middle of the night) and only reflecting on the sadness and confusion of the subject matter in general. Your comments are greatly appreciated! His Grayness...........Vance

I learned some things by reading this. There are a few things, though, I think you'll want to consider:
I have died in a tiny small box
Hardly the size of a simple ream of paper [I don't think you meant he DIED in a box that small. Were his remains in a box that small?]
Breathed only upon my wound [Do you mean "Only breathed on my wound

Thanks so much Jay for your kind and helpful words. I was truly a bit sloppy with this work and of course, he did not die in the box but only his bones were buried therein. and yes, Jesus "only" breathed on this wound and healed him. Thanks again for your feedback. Best regards, His Grayness..............Vance
