This is a truly engrossing story.
I found myself very interested and impatient to understand what each sentence meant.
I love the name and realize I need to go backwards to get it all.

I loved the chapter. I could see the pleading eyes. The letter broke my heart. You did a wonder job writing this. The characters, the action, the emotion, you have it all.

Darn, I sure hoped Don would survive somehow and now Arran has to find a successor for Don or is he the successor? I enjoyed reading this excellent chapter and hope to read more soon.

It is a shame as Don, despite his brief appearance in the book, is one of my faves too. Still, his us a thread that runs through the core of the story. Let's just hope Arran doesn't drop it along the way ;-).
