Hi Steve,
This is quite a tongue twister, lol. I read a couple other postings using this writing challenge and yours is the best by far.
Kids love nonsense and your creative cast of characters is sure to make them laugh.
You know what? I think I'd like to party at that tavern. Those question are much easier to answer than political ones.
This was a total blast to read. I particularly loved: try saying that thrice and your tongue'll go gnarly AND my tutu's too tight. LOL

yes, it was a lot of fun to write. Did you read all the other entries - there is one other excellent one that is ahead of me in the voting.
. You should know that there are three other Gobbledegooks poems - they are scattered around my portfolio. I hope by tonight they will all be collected into one book to make them easier to find.

This is phantasmegorical. It's the only word that's appropriate. An alliteration bonanza, not a single one forced. The readers must all be goobledegookians because they're all excited, enraptured, entranced and enthralled. I haven't had this much fun since I last went Figberry Folly's Fiesta of Fun. And all rhymed beautifully to boot.

Hands down? Don't think so. Second place looks to be my lot...
Thanks for the great review and the six star rating. I now have four Gobbledegooks poems - I can see each of them as being a onderful picture book - I just need to get off my butt and get them to a publisher if I had any clue how to do that.

You could get an agent which might save a lot of time, as they would know what publishers are accepting this type of manuscript. Or...you could send your ms directly to publishers once you've done the research to find out if they are accepting unsolicited manuscripts and what type. etc. they take a very long time to get back to you and some don't even bother sending rejections anymore.
They just say if you don't hear back in 6 months or so...consider it rejected.
This series of yours is so good, I would think an agent would be happy to represent you. I wish you luck. Nancy

I googled literary agents in NZ and saw some that looked promising. Also there is an author society there that may be of help

Your poem does what every great kid's poem does- dazzles with alliterative wizardry and word invention. "Phantasmegorical/historical"- awesome rhyme.
