Thanks so much for the fine review and the six shiny stars - much appreciated.

Yes, this was a lot of fun to write. It's the fourth or fifth poem about the Gobbledegooks...

I can envision a groups of young children sitting in a circle in a classroom (if they're still allowed to do so) and giggling, laughing and rolling over in hysterics.
This non-sensicle structure is right up my ally.

Nicely constructed. John

I have to admit something to you. I voted for my own poem in the contest, but the truth is - I liked your best. This is terrific and at least I could give you a six. It flows so well and made me smile a lot. I may share it with my grandchildren.

Hey! I always vote for my own poem!

You are most welcome to share this with your grand-children. You should know that there are three other Gobbledegooks poems - they are scattered around my portfolio. I hope by tonight they will all be collected into one book to make them easier to find.

SO much fun! I want a ticket to the Fiesta.
Love the visuals and the tongue twisters--great flow of words and energy.
A sure hit with kids and grown-up kids:)

Good children's poem about this fairytale. Good word flow, and rhyming along with silly words. Good story about witches, and spells and all the good stuff that goes with fairytales.

Very fanciful poem that sparks the imagination.
The rhyming is creative and catchy
It is supposed to be a children's poem, and so it is. I like the way you made even bad guys, like werewolves the good type. Cute and clever.

Steve;
+ Near notable alliteration's:/"Feast of Fandango"/"Figberries Folly of Fiesta of Fun"/
"enraptured entrance and enthralled"/"though today they're themselves"/"were wolves"/"legions of leprechauns"/"Magog of Magicians"/"flown fresh from"/"Whose wand"/"White Witch of Wend"/"Bumblebum Berry"/"Figberry flies"/"fireworks and flares"/"Wandcraft and Wizardry"/"Witch in the Wardrobe"/"Fairy Fantasia"/"Cat In Cahoots"/"Coven Cacophony"/"Tutu's Too Tight"/: A remarkable use of alliteration's made the reading a tongue-tied theatrical time.
+ Rhyming couplets were done remarkably well in all the rhyming words were contingent to the meaning and concept of each line making them neither forced nor labored and helpful in this rhythmic flow which was also remarkably done.
+ Rhythmic meter, timing, cadence and tempo all helpful in the movement and the flow of the reading which was fluid, easy and clear.
+ Poetic assessment: enrichment alliteration and tongue tying reading of words this poem offered an imaginary sense of imagination and a fairytale land of fairytale creatures.
+ Good luck in the contest for this is an exceptional contender for the contest and may the good Lord be with you always.

Young children have not been tainted with reality. This nonsensical poem is right down their avenue of fun. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words, making for a very good read. Good luck in your contest.

LOL - what a tongue-twister this was when recited - this delightful children's poem could actually be used for those needing to practise their diction.

Phantasmegorical is not a word deplorable (nor is this witty, pretty poem).
If it's just theoretical, I pray it's highly edible, for I find nothing smoother here at home. :0)

Good luck in the contest.
