Bean there, done that, bought the tea shirt and spilt all the food down the front of it when a sudden thought struck me. It'll have to strike me agagain'cos I forgot what it was while cleaning up the mess. This is the writing table. That is the dinner table and never the twain shall meet.

Hahaha, yeah, I know exactly what you mean, Pantygynt.
Thanks for taking a walk with me on my lighter side. I hope you enjoyed it (for a change) and I appreciate your comments very much.

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Dean, you have been peeping into my apartment again, haven't you?!! 'Fess up. Okay, that's it, that's all I've got to say to you about this poem because my stomach is talking to my backbone, and it's quite rude of you to know that. (HAHAHAHAHAHA! FUN STUFF!!!) Off to make some breakfalupper now. HAHAHAHAHAHA!

...hmmm...turkey, polish sausage, squash, eggs & bacon, broccoli, potatoes, gravy & pumpkin pie - I love me sum dessert...oh what the heck - throw in some Jello too, and Creamsicle-flavour ice cream - yum. But sheesh, I forgot - there's a wee tip of curried shrimp is left over from Friday - better use that up. Shrimp ain't cheap. (HAHAHAHAHAHAHA - see what you inspire?)

Hey, that all sounds delicious, Dawn. I wonder if I have any shrimp in the fridge? I know I have some Jello...
Yes, I'm sorry, I apologize for peeping in. But I was completely devoid of inspiration. So I thought to myself, Self, whose window could we peek in to give us a little inspiration for something a bit more light and airy? Well...yours was the one I thought of first. LOL...
Thanks for reading and commenting, and I hope you got a genuine laugh or two from reading this wacky post. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to Nancy Davis' place.

    Heh-heh-heh...

Hi Dean:)
I well know how I can get so engrossed in writing that I forget to eat I used to have more than my share of Breakfaluppers. Trouble was that after a long day of intense writing, I needed about three of your specialties I soon reached the point where I could no longer get close enoughto fhd keyb0ard

I finally got a dietitian who helped me lose 80 pounds this year. No more breakfasts for me.

Now warn other writers.

It's really hard for some to believe, Roger, but it happens more often than many of us who write frequently care to admit.
Thank you very much for your review and time spent commenting. I very much appreciate it, as always.

Yeah, and not all of 'em good choices either, Karen.
Thanks for the read and review, and for sharing your thoughts concerning this whacky poem. I do appreciate it.

Well my friend, this was real food for thought a fantastic gourmet of words and imagery, although some of the things I eat mixed together would probably explode. Fantastic read.
Bless you
John

Thanks, Mac. Just promise me one thing. That you will never eat pop rocks candy and beans. It's not a pretty site.
    Trust me on this...
I very much appreciate your review and comments.

Hi Dean, I had to know what breakfalupper was. So glad I read, as I enjoyed this fun poem. It made me smile all the way through! Of course, I love the last line and the cartoon addition too.

Thanks a bunch, Mel. I am happy to know that you enjoyed my brief foray into the lighter, brighter side of life. Shucks, even I need to crawl away from my crusty crypt every now and again. It's really starting to reek in there!
    Thanks so much again.
    All my best

HA! I loved it! As a matter of fact, I need to stop and eat as we speak. Did not realize I have been sitting here this long. I love the mind that is Dean Kuch, for it never disappoints.
God bless my friend!

Thanks, Steve, that's very nice of you to say, my friend.
I do try very hard not to disappoint anyone who cares enough to read my work. After all, I feel it's the least I can do.
Much obliged to you for the six stars and thoughtful comments.

Loved this Just as I loved my own Breakfalupper. Mine was a biscuit spread in a muffin tin with a filling of eggs, onions, sausage and cheese. When almost done, added a slice of tomato topped with more cheese :)
You Lil ditty fit right in :)

Lol. Loved it!!!

This work has reached the exceptional level

Heh, heh, heh, that's damn silly. I personally don't usually miss meals (as my weight tells) but I do combine writing with eating at times. So several meals may get combined because it takes so long to eat. Evi

Hi, Deano.

This could be saying enjoy your food and also write, OR more likely be a metaphor for creating a poem.

Either way it works for me, and nice to see you get away from the horror genre occasionally.

Very entertaining read.

Best wishes, Ray
