I missed you, Michael. This is such a beautiful, beautiful poem, my friend, one that Nancy is bound to adore. I think it is one of your very best. It is brimming with your love for this very special lady, it was there in your line:
I saw you in the shades of Autumn, that was beautiful. Lots of love, my friend, Sandy xsx

She told me a story...this song was playing the first time she was asked to dance. the gentleman who asked her...became her first love. so I was really...in her head....though I do adore her from a far...and envy that gentleman...-smile- Hey you...ahh having a fit with that "new" site.....I cant center my words...or present them ...the way I would.......they've completely gotten rid of "alternate edit"...so...I'm not having as much fun. Bug the big love...-wink-
-
You are not the only one, there has been loads of complaints, but Tom isn't going to change it back, I think it will gradually all be just the new site. Horrible, isn't it.
I can centre mine, go to the very bottom after you have your words in, the other buttons are there for centering and colours etc. Where did you disappear too, you were gone for days, I was going to e-mail you over the weekend if you hadn't come on by then. I was getting worried. :( xxx

ah...I think I have bi-polor disorder now...-headshake-...just cant seem to catch a break Sandy....one thing after another....been hanging out with my Forum family...fighting with one or two...but we drink...-wink-...lol ahh just messing...love-
-
I'm just kidding Sandy...relax...lol
-
That's all right then! But you take care...PLEASE! I worry about you. Love you always, my special friend. :) xx

Welcome back stranger--just in time for Valentine's Day! You certainly picked up where you left off. I admired your poem coming full circle with vivid imagery. My favorite one is "music/just born fresh torn from heaven". Your artwork selection reinforces the image of her. Hugs and happy weekend- Joan

The last of the diehard Romantics, Michael. I enjoyed the Spiritual-Romantic tension in the first two stanzas.
If God ever looked at you as she did you would be worshiping Him in a monastery.
But He didn't an so the Romantic swing between She does and She doesn't.
The stuff good poetry is made of. And this is one.

Dear Michael - I do believe you have outdone yourself. This has some unique lines and imagery I wasn't expecting. Yet it pulls and holds the reader in the web of your thoughts and sight...Lovely poem.
Thanks for sharing,
Moe
