A beautiful poem and a beautiful song. I have a friend who sings this When we go to Karaoke in Spain.
Your poem is Well written, the space between the poem and the song if too long.

No one knows when cupid arrow will strike them. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words, making for a very interesting read. There is good imagery.

Michael, I don't think I have ever read another poem of yours I loved as much as this one - this is magnificent, my friend, simply masterful use of romantic language. I don't have a six, dammit! Ran out of them on Monday! But this is ho-so-worthy!!!

I like the recording, but I am a romantic at heart. I like the structure and format of the poem and I like the way the poem is written from the heart. This is a great poem. Thank you for sharing.

This lovely free verse is extremely well done. The powerful descriptive language captures the reader from the start. It seems to become the beautiful music you describe and then the dance began.
" ...fresh torn from heaven was its taste eternal ..." is such an amazing line and this poem is filled with so many.
The picture adds to the innocence of this haunting love.
I truly enjoyed reading this. Blessings! Pat :)

Alms for poor eyesight- love that line. There is certain beauty that once seen, is a revelation to the eyes, a filling of the cup that will no longer permit vision to be poor. My Spanish is rusty, but you might want to check. I think besesme should be besame. Excellent poem.
