I love how you have the eagle envying you since in most poems the speaker is envying the eagle - and what a fine reason for the envy :-) Brooke

This is a wonderful piece of poetry. I tip my hat that you did not attempt something cheap or merely clever. What an inspiring piece. The words stand alone, but the presentation enhances beautifully. The clear winner, not that the voters here know the differance. :))

This is very well presented and composed, especially for such a brief poem, Poet 'M'. But, that's the whole point of these short works and contests which pertain to them. You have to make the greatest impact in the shortest space possible, right?
