Really interesting premise for the whole story` I appreciated the twist in this last installment, but felt that the ending was kind of a let down. However, as usual your characters are vivid and dialogue specific to each person. Caroline

Interesting premise, Mikey. Now I understand why everyone always has their trysts at deserted bars. It's because they'll all run into each other there. It seems to me the best place for a clandestine meeting is at a Republican Convention.

Yep, no one would pay any attention to something clandestine there!! :) This was fun. I wanted to see if I could take some really boring people and get them to do something interesting. Thank you, mikey

I like that it did not descend into a brawl, just drunken resignation. I am not to sure about the ending though, the call from the local sheriff. I don't think you need to complicate the story.

You might be right on the ending. I just wanted to add a call from the real world to show that their could be a consequence while they where playing their games. This was just a weird experiment to see if I could get some boring people to do anything exciting!

Fixed that my eagle eye friend. No one caught it, of course. :) I left it up in the air. Just putting some ordinary people in a bad spot to show what can happen if folks aren't honest with each other.

I liked this and think you did a great job with it. However, reality tells me that both couples would have ended up rolling on the floor and punching it out...or not. Great work with this. I enjoyed it very much.

Could be. These are pretty dull and ordinary people for the most part though, in over their heads. I doubt any of them have ever thrown a punch. Glad you liked it. I was just experimenting really. Taking some really boring people and seeing if I could drag any excitement out of them. :)) mikey

I threw the call in as a kind of reminder that there is a real life that they have while they are out messing around. Maybe one of the daughters got in trouble. I just left it up in the air. Glad you enjoyed it. mikey
