Albeit horror - it's really entertaining -
so cleverly thought out and well presented -
keeping good rhythm and rhyme throughout...
all in all, most impressive and deserving
of a six.

good luck with the contest - surely a winner!!

This the first of the Phyllis Stewart love fest that I have read. I too have a great feeling for her writing, but explore more on her novels. It must be awesome to concentrate on zombies and lift them into loving, creative persons. Thank you very much for this very entertaining poetic essay.

Wow! It is going to be hard for any story to top this masterpiece, albeit a bit bloody and brutal. The whole presentation is put together well with the sickeningly gruesome photos.

Best wishes with this contest entry. I'd say you've got a real good shot at being the winning entry.

Blessings,
Marsha

Excellent tribute to Phyllis and her penguin series, Deano.

Hilarious spooky way of turning her cuties into monsters unfit for children's' 'consumption'. ;-)

Great fun dialogue between you an the 'evil' Phyllis. LOL.

Original and inspired write, my friend.

Cheers, Ray

Hi (I know who you are) mystery author, well for goodness sake, there's only one person who could have written this fantastically gory tribute to Phillis's penguins, and very well written it is too, I too am a great admirer of her work so I appreciate the work that has gone into this wonderful poem, Good luck in the contest my friend.

I have a suspicion who did this post. No matter, it seems to be tailored to the prompt, and is grammatically well written, and full of imagery, so I think it rates five stars.

OH MY GOODNESS, this is so classic and different. Once I started reading I was mesmerized. This is such a clever tale and for me gives new meanings and challenges to Happy Feet. Nicely crafted and played out

This story is gory but quite creative. I can't imagine Phyllis involving herself with horrors of this kind of encounter, though. Not in her nature. Be that as it may, it is definitely one of a kind. Solid rhyme. :0 GracieAnn

Hah-ha, you're kiddin' me, right? Phyllis writes entire novels about demonic entities taking over human being minds, bodies and souls, and you think she's going to be averse to a little silly, comedic verse about zombie penguins? Uh-uh, I already know that ain't gonna' happen.

Thanks for your review, GracieAnn. :]
