This is lovely, Dean! It reminds me of a proctologist checking his handy work, and saying, "Beautiful."
Your content flawless, as usual, I have two questions of form, actually, tempo:
Bring your own light, it's rather dark; [By leaving out "own" the tempo is improved.
I am horror writer, true, [Talk about nit-picky... I don't see why you didn't add an "a" after "am". It seems an omission, especially when the tempo is best with it there.
Just suggestions to take or reject.

gore and bile and horrid stuff
you feed us till we scream 'Enough!'
so why do we return to see
your latest gore stained victims bleed
could it be that deep inside
you reveal the things we hide
that everyone from whore to priest
would like to see our banes deceased
and easily imagined foes
meet grisly ends like in your poems
Sorry, I waxed poetic when I read your poem.
I regret to inform you, but some of us have our own dark side that could compete with yours.
I think it's therapeutic to release some of this darkness onto unsuspecting readers. :)

I'll bet your pastor will be squirming in his belfry Dean! I guess the scripture, should read "unless you love your mother, father, sister or brother or horror more than me, you are not worthy of me..."Matthew 10:37.
This is a brilliantly written poetic rendition, Dean, it was very smooth, the lyrical nature of the work was descriptively great, the rhyming aabb was good, the artwork, which I can't do, embellished and illustrated the work well, blessings, and a healthy. Happy, prosperous and spirit filled new year, thanks for your personal support in 2014. Roy.

Hah, you would be right, Ray. I did intend for this to be a little on the lighter side of horror, LOL. I'm just trying to the end the year just as I began. I gotta' go out with both guns blazing!
