You get this weeks six for this wonderful work! It read like a beautiful oriental love story. The rhyming was on the mark and you used phrases and words that sounded fresh. Looking forward to reading more from you!

Hi the author,

Nice descriptive poem on the 'glory' of the Morning Glory. My grandparents always had them in their garden, but I missed the halucinogenic part ... Obviously wasn't into 'experimenting' with the plant life.

Lethal in large doses. Sometimes not much will do the trick for some. I enjoyed your poem. I never found anything wrong and wish you success in the contest. Happy New Year.

What a beautiful flower, and good word flow to tell of beauty in this poem. Thanks for the notes, I learned things about this flower I didn't know.

A good flower sonnet in good English Sonnet form - perfect iambic pentameter, good abab rhyme form - very good turn in stanza 3 and a perfect final rhyming couplet. Lovely read. Good luck in the contest. Warm regards and Good Luck in the New Year. Dorothy xx

With aplomb our poet sketches two forces, one emanating from the soul of the poet, the other from the fate of the flower. (Glorious morning glories used to adorn our brick wall) With a clash a poem was born and the final line is the piece de resistance. Masterfully done!

This is excellent. It not only describes the Morning Glory but has a story line to it. Very well presented with the iambic pentameter done with perfection. Great job!
