"There is only the battle of treatment." I really like this sentence. Never heard it expressed in that manner in all my years of nursing and I attended many "wars" working in Intensive care. Good job.

Well written chapter with good descriptions of the medical conditions. Still the fly in the ointment hangs on, he doesn't deserve to survive. The characters, especially Trellitia, Julia, Valerius are so memorable. Most enjoyable as always. Faye

Once again Valerius show why he is a better man. Even though Cicero meant him and the people he love harm, he would still treat him. Mikey, another well written chapter. Just a couple of things I spotted.
There are no doubt others afflicted." --- others that are afflicted ???
Check your bodies now for red sores. --- drop the "now"
