Thanks, TK, that's very kind of you to say, my friend. I loved your poem, "Now Hidden in Disguise", by the way. Simply brilliant!

So glad I read this on classic FS, because I wouldn't have liked to miss a word. Great rhyme and meter to pull us into the story behind the poem. Super image too! I thoroughly enjoyed it. Alexis x

Isn't she a cutie pie? LOL! That's what he gets for offing his wife. I'm sure running into something like this would make a bloke repent. You had me at "chthonian" spirits. I had to go looking on the internet. Some kind of fictitious creature. Interesting poetry, Dean. I enjoyed your rhymes and rhythm. Well done.

H.P. Lovecraft wrote about such spirits quite often, Adri7enne. Thanks so much for the read and review. I truly appreciate it.

Very well written, enjoyed the story that was intertwined throughout. You gave great details and the hint of sarcasm as well as of horror, thrilled to the bone. Loved the darkness of the package, BRILLIANT and BRAVO...MN

Thanks, Matt, you are very kind, sir. I'm obviously a HUGE fan of the horror genre. I think it is so under appreciated and overlooked most times. That's pretty much all I write, be it poetry or prose. I am very glad that you enjoyed it. :)

A tale from the crypts of the haunting revenge of a.murdered wife. Excellent rhyming and imagery. I could almost hear Rod Serling narrating as i read this story worthy of the Twilight Zone. Well done.

Or, "The Night Gallery", remember that one, Tom? That series scared the hell outta me it's first year, but then the stories got rather bland.

Thanks so much for the kind words, my friend. it's always a pleasure. :} ~Dean

This is superb. I love the poem it is eery, creepy, and tells a great story of revenge. You even taught me a new word. I love your artistic style of presentation too. You are truly an artist in every way.

I am flipping back and forth from the new to the classic style of FS. I am sure it will take time for Tom (or Toms) to work out all the kinks before it works as well as the old one.

Thanks, Sasha, I really appreciate you taking the time to read and critique the poem for me. It is always a pleasure.

I do the same thing, go from Classic, back to the new one. Tom will get all the bugs worked out eventually. These things just take time.

    Thanks so much again! ~Dean

I like the look of the new style, but find it a bit slow to maneuver through. I like the speed of the classic version better. I also am not a great fan of change but am willing to give this one a fair chance.

This was brilliant, Dean.

The imagery was superb, painting a very vivid, if somewhat disturbing, picture!

Nothing else to say!
All the best - GMG

    'Nuff said then, giraffmang. What you've said is good enough for me, and I sincerely appreciate every single word. :}

Lovely art that complements your poem extremely well. I believe you it is better on the other site. Your wife from earlier approaches you with a poisoned parasol and in the end killed you with cyanide.

And, lets not forget, she drags the conniving, vile jerk back to hell with her, Ine. LOL...

Thanks again for such an outstanding rating and review. I hope you've been feeling well lately. You've been in my prayers.

    Thanks again.. :)

Well Dean, you've done it again. Pleasant screams? I don't think so!
They say karma is a b.... and I guess that must be true.
I'm sure this unfortunate soul could attest to that.
A powerful presentation and horror at its best.

As always Dean you are the emperor of horror poetry and nobody can beat you in this category. This poem is a proof of how good you are in this genre. But I have to admit I want a different brand of your poem, if it is possible, I wish for something less dark. It is just my personal opinion my friend. God bless.
