You've written a fun, entertaining and smart poem. You've covered most types of messes: physical messes, psychological messes and even included yourself as a mess--but one you were very forgiving of.

Well now, I'd say you have covered the 'mess' gamut with a lot of description and situations. I might have varied the "ess" rhymes with other vocabulary choices to give the reader some diversity. I can tell you had fun with this, and I wish you well in the contest!

Thank you!! I did have fun with it!! I do agree with the diversity part you mentioned, I even considered it actually. However, I just felt the whole "ess" added to the fun as I sat back and read it again. Totally get what you are saying though. Thanks again for the review!!!

Famous geniuses who were creative never had orderly desks. Einstein is supposed to have said, if cluttered desks denote cluttered mind, what does it say about an empty desk? I feel better, my desk is a disaster, now I know where my creativity comes from! Good use of humour, rhyming and imagery to convey your thoughts. Enjoyable read and good luck in the contest. Faye

Life is strssful and one can take it destressedful with such writings and make believe anyone the beauty of mind to compose to make anyone-heavy to a light-hearted stage of relax!
Messes are such,one can be positive and vice versa,depend on the words resonate within mind,and this the 'Hot Mess" is.
