Oh I believe I'll never see, a mess that's quite as big as thee! A nice entry in this contest, you rhyming rhythmic poem, should do well, amusing and well written, some in mono rhyme and variable rhyme, well done, good luck, blessings, Roy.

I like this poem, especially its rhyme and rhythm. It flows freely. However,I see a mixture of the kind of mess being discussed. One, referring to the food, and one referring to a mess that we happen to commit once in a while. I was a little confused about the mixture. And they are, I think, used interchangeably. But whatever it is, the points are there. That a mess is a mess. I like best the last stanza stressing mess to its final conclusion. Congratulations. Dom which affirms

Very funny poem here. I contend that "mess" is defined by the beholder. My hubby is a neat freak and I'm a crafty, creative person. What he calls a mess I call "disarranged".
