I enjoyed your reflections (pun intended) about electricity and enlightenment. Your rhyme scheme and photograph complement the tone well. Cheers- Joan

This poetic style suits the theme of your poem about that miraculous invention--electricity. With gas as its partner it moves the world, sometimes to good and sometimes to bad. Well done, Tom.

Once again your command of poetic forms shines brightly.
A rather boring topic has been held up to the light(Sorry!Lol.) and allowed to glow with the unique creativity which created it.
The style seems complex but has , yet again, been perfected here.

Where would we be without it now! Our lives have become so dependent on it, and yet it isn't that long ago we had to live without gas and electricity. Candles everywhere. So for just a few short years, we have lived the lives of luxury, yet the preceding few hundred thousand years there was nothing and people still survived. Interesting that! This is a great poem, Tom, with lots to think about. xsx sandra

If one thinks how humankind had evolved and how our lives had changed the last 100 years, one can't even imagine what the next 100 years would be like. A pity we won't see it. This is well done.
