I am always pleased to find a next chapter and here it is. They are warned. The doctor defends itself but nothing will help I think.

Nothing but good to say about this chapter, Mikey. Unfortunately I have more praise than sixes.

Wasn't it Peter who said to the crippled scribe, "Sixes have I none, but pick up your mat and go yonder and create." Hey, no one said he was a talker.

Great job, Mikey.

Well, I only hope the wooded village of children does not become a 'Hush-a-by Mountain' from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, nor the Burgermeister town of illegal toys and playing area for children as in Santa Claus is Coming to Town. (I know this is set much further back in time then either of those, but I had always thought those to be extreme cases in stories). Meanwhile: No faults in writing I could see here, I await the next chapter :)

A good argument is presented here. Hopefully he will be able to enlighten some who will take a stand. The numbers of people needed to be hidden is growing. It will be interesting how they resolve this. It would be cool if someone could convince the hierarchy that Leopold was possessed.

Valerius had better be careful what he says and who he says it to. He may find himself on the roasting spit as well. I liked that Julia is a step ahead of her father and is brazen enough to tell him the she is smarter than him. It could come off as arrogant, but she carries it so well that she gets away with it. I think Valerius is finding exactly where Cicero's loyalties lie.
Great chapter, very engrossing.

Gong really good mate. Where you talk about Trellitia (sp?) going to take the children to hid e thjem it looks like after Petros?? visits her you have her in Abrahamus's house straight away. Wondering if something wrong there in the way you wrote it? Or were the children already in her house? If so no space in between the two places.
