Well done.
Enjoyed the mixed rhyme scheme. The short, expressive lines did carry a lively meter that resonated well. The gentle expression of love and respect were evident and the chimes could almost be heard in the background.

What a lovely clock, I knew someone in England from my family who had a clock like that and it chimed the most lovely music at the quarter of an hour or hour. What a precious gift you have that will always remind you of her. Well chosen words and rhymes to convey your thoughts. Enjoyable read. Faye

These clocks are beautiful and the chimes on them are so soothing. My husbands parents had one like this, I don't know where the clock went. I am glad you have your clock which brings back good memories of a much loved mother. Blessings, Pat
