I must admit I am hopeless when it comes to computers and all this sort of stuff, but your essay/directions are clearly worded and easy to follow. You write much better directions than those I've received in many product manuals. Brooke

Thanks Brooke some said it was a bit confusing to read and I did wonder but glad you figired it out. I am amazed at the number of people who still send heaps of other e-mail addresses around ha!

Thanks, Sankey, for the informative essay. Though you wrote it 'ages' ago, it has same relevance and usefulness even today. It is a reminder for many who do not know the ramifications of simply forwarding any mail using BCC option. It would save avoidable misunderstanding and embarrassment.

Yep mate sure would. Thanks for coming by. Some times I have 'Senior Moments' with some of my Christian stuff I send around and I have sent it CC rather than BCC hehe. Fortunately most of these people are not likely to be the spammers or send viruses around to everyone .

Oh, Sankey! When you write it like this it appears so confusing!!! Thank goodness most of us actually learn things by doing them, not by reading instructions!!! BCC is a very helpful tool, that's for sure.

Ant.

Glad you are on it. You reckon my instructions are confusing ha! I can't believe how many are still on using BCC. Looking forward to next chapter of the creepy manor story in Tassie. Waiting for the guy and Emily to hop into the cot. ha!

I work in IT and use this a lot. I think most of the time it is to keep my boss in the loop without the rest of the staff knowing that he reads the mail too :) Good job.

Sankey, This is a good thing for everyone to know and practice. I always do BCC, for the reasons you state and because I hope others will do the same because I hate getting emails with tons of other people's address's. Good job, great reminder. Judy

Glad to help you Bro. I still get surprised at the numbers who do not realise how important this is. Maybe they are not as regular with e=-mails.

Fascinating and helpful. I admit I thought this was an Australian thing. I checked it out with GMail and sure enough there was CC and BCC.

Just one concern

As a matter of fact when you receive an e-mail [You need a paragraph space here.]

Great job!

Thank you for your info. I usually erase prior addresses, manually, when I Want to send something forward. I like your method better.
