I think your song has great potential. The rhythm and rhyme are good; the punctuation could use a little work. I do have one question, though. With your repeat line,
BUT you'll NEVER get it together till Jesus gives you., I keep wondering, as I read from stanza to stanza, till Jesus give you what? It seems like there's something missing in that line, unless I'm just reading it wrong?

?Get it together ? is a Song/Poem that I wrote back in 1981 and always wanted to somehow someway get it out for a few people to read. It has finally been done. Thank you for calling to my attention the typo that somehow snuck in there. The line should read, ?BUT you'll NEVER get it together till Jesus gets to you? Thanks to your review I was able to correct the site.

Yes, that line makes a lot more sense now. Good luck with your song. I write music too, mostly inspirational songs for children, but I know how important it is to get the message out there. God bless you for spreading the Word.

This is a pretty jazzy type hymn. I tolerate the new music in church today. I know they have to appeal to the teens and young adults, I agree with that. I think every now and then,
church service could be celebrated with the old style for the older crowd. The old country church hymn.
