I'm glad you finally got it out there for us to read. It tells it like it is...I'd love to hear in song fashion. Keep up the good work, if you could write like this in 1981 you must be really great now. Being a Christian is what it is all about.

vibrantly expressive lyrical poem. Relating so right on about the foolish and misguided
ways people try to escape reality or find supernatural highs; when there is only one
true way, 'till Jesus gets to you' that is infallible and irrefutable. A timely message
for these times of such rampant drug use and so many denials and distractions
from basic spiritual truths and salvations. Thanks for sharing. Hope you get this
song poem recorded someday, such a lively beat and message.

I read this just after watching the newscast in our city tonight. It showed our police and black community in a church service together, holding hands and declaring their solidarity in Christ. 'When Jesus gets to you'.... what a contrast to what the world at large experiences !

Nothing less than my last 6. Wish I could give it more. This is a wonderful piece and I wish I could hear what the tune is to go with it as I have made one up. Very catchy and a good entry. Rhyming is great and flow keeps it moving. Very good.

Excellent story about the effect of knowing Jesus has on your life. I agree with every statement. I like the repeating line. I like the imagery and the word choice. It would be wonderful to sing at church worship services frequently. Job well done. Thanks for sharing.
